Rockpile Museum Access Program for Low-Income Families NOW FREE

First Interstate Bank of Gillette has sponsored Museums for All guests for 2023

Gillette, Wyoming –Today the Campbell County Rockpile Museum is pleased to announce that First Interstate Bank of Gillette has sponsored admission fees for all Museums for All participants for the remainder of 2023.

The Rockpile Museum joined this nationwide program in 2021.  Museums for All, a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), encourages people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits. The program supports those receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits visiting the Rockpile Museum for free, up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card.  The Rockpile Museum has also extended this benefit to those in the Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) with the presentation of a WIC EBT card.  Admission under this program is now FREE for 2023 through a generous sponsorship by First Interstate Bank.

Similar free and reduced admission is available to eligible members of the public at more than 1,000 museums across the country, including three in Wyoming. Museums for All is part of the Rockpile Museum’s broad commitment to seek, include, and welcome all audiences.

"We are very grateful for First Interstate Bank, their board of directors, and their employees for sponsoring Museums for All admission at the Rockpile Museum,” said Museum Director Robert Henning. “Their support will allow our community’s most vulnerable residents to continue to utilize the museum and its programs.”
