Back to School Assistance with Your Library Card
by Larissa Stalcup, Administrative Services Manager

The first day of school is quickly approaching, with the stress of schoolwork in the back of everyone’s mind. Imagine if you had FREE access to a live online tutor, writing lab, practice tests, and other homework help? What if I told you that with your library card you have access to all of those and more? Exciting, right?

Brainfuse Help Now is just one of Campbell County Public Library System’s many databases that is geared towards lifelong learning. With your CCPLS library card, you can access Brainfuse database features such as searchable lessons and skill-building exercises to help with grade-level learning content; writing assistance and language labs; and live tutoring in various subject areas is available from 2-11pm daily. You can even sharpen your chess-playing skills with live tutoring!

Brainfuse isn’t only for children; it’s designed for all ages. The adult learning section offers resume writing and access to academic and standardized test prep, that will prepare you for the real thing.

Supported tests include:
    •The new SAT
    •ACT
    •The new GED
    •TASC (a GED alternative test)
    •HiSet (a GED alternative test)
    •ASVAB
    •TOEFL
    •TOEIC
    •US Citizenship Test
    •College Placement Test Preparation
    •And more

Kick off the school year confidently, knowing you can access Brainfuse from home anytime or from one of our computers, available for free at your libraries in Gillette and Wright. You just need your library card to get started.

SAVE THE DATE:
Wednesday, September 21, 2:30-4pm
