Grow Your Business with Help from Your Library
by Larissa Stalcup, CCPL Administrative Services Manager

Thinking about engaging your entrepreneurial spirit by opening your own business? Do you already own a business? Campbell County Public Library supports existing and aspiring small business owners and entrepreneurs in a variety of ways. Databases, like Gale Business, offer free (with your library card) access to information about all aspects of being a business owner, from creating a business plan and developing a budget to marketing and managing tips—and much more.

And now, thanks to a grant from Libraries Build Business, your library in Gillette also provides patrons and small business owners The Video Lab, featuring tools to create their own professional videos using our new Wyoming Library to Business Video Lab. Our video production space drastically simplifies the video production workflow, eliminating several time-consuming steps. The end result is a studio experience that requires the bare minimum of time and effort while simultaneously providing a consistently high-quality result packaged on a thumb drive in a standard format video file.

CCPL also offers high-end equipment and software for audio production. The Sound Lab includes professional-quality mics, headphones, and software to produce professional-level recordings. This lab can be used for recording podcasts, oral history projects, music and much more.
A small business looking to start up, grow, create high-quality web content and/or promotional materials can take advantage of all these resources. Call 307.687.0115 and sign up for a session. Reference Staff will help you every step of the way.
