The Rockpile Museum is excited to welcome University of Oregon’s Beekman Professor of Northwest and Pacific History and author, Professor Jeffrey Ostler for a live virtual program on Friday, February 19, 2021 . Professor Ostler will be presenting his 2010 work: "The Lakotas and the Black Hills: The Struggle for Sacred Ground." This presentation will be virtual and will be offered LIVE via our Facebook page and YouTube channel. This program will be archived to YouTube for anyone that misses the live broadcast. There are a limited number of copies of "The Lakotas and the Black Hills" for sale in the Rockpile Museum bookstore for those that would like to purchase and read the book prior to this presentation.
