The concept of the government documents program is to bring United States government information to the taxpaying public. Our library is a member of the Federal Depository Library Program. As a selective depository, we currently receive approximately 14% of the documents available, with the collection totaling at over 82,000 items.
These documents include everything from the daily proceedings of Congress, to definitive how-to manuals, to the practical house, and garden hints of the Department of Agriculture. Of particular interest are the Code of Federal Regulations, the Federal Register, the various publications of the Interior Department, the U.S. Geological Survey, the National Forest Service, and the Department of Energy. Many documents are available online in the WYLDcat online catalog.
