Childhood Immunization Clinics

Currently, all children’s immunizations are being done by appointment on Wednesdays from 8 - 11:30am and 1 - 4:30pm.

Infant Immunizations

Infants receive immunizations at 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, and 12-15 months of age per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention [CDC] recommendations. CDC.gov

Childhood Immunizations

Children ages 4-6 years of age require immunizations before entering kindergarten. These vaccines can be given any time after the child turns 4 years old.

School-Age Immunizations

Children 11-12 years of age require immunizations before entering 7th grade. In addition to the required vaccines, for this age group, there are also vaccines recommended by CDC that are available at public health. CDC.gov

Adult Immunizations

Adult immunizations are currently provided on Mondays by appointment. Please call (307) 682-7275 for an appointment.

Recommended vaccines for adults per CDC include:

  • Tdap once as an adult if not received as an adolescent
  • Td every 10 years
  • Tdap for every pregnant woman with each pregnancy
  • Shingrix (Shingles) for adults over 50
  • Pneumonia vaccine for adults over 65
  • HPV for males and females 19-26 years of age

Travel Immunizations

Campbell County Public Health does provide world travel immunizations by appointment. Vaccines available include, Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Polio, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B, and Td (tetanus/diphtheria). It is recommended to start travel vaccines 6 months prior to the beginning of your trip. Please call public health for costs of vaccines, appointment time, and recommended vaccines.
