Overview


Holiday, Vacation & Sick Time

Regular, part-time employees working at least 20 hours per week are eligible for 11 paid holidays per year.

  • Vacation accrual
    • 1-4 years, 12 days per year or 250 hours per year
    • 5-9 years, 17 days per year
    • 10-14 years, 22 days per year
    • 15-19 years, 24.5 days per year
    • 20-24 years, 27 days per year
    • 25+ years, 29.5 days per year

Regular, part-time employees working at least 20 hours per week are eligible for vacation on a prorated basis. Sick leave accrual is 12 days per year.

Medical

The Medical Benefit Plan is self-insured, self-funded by Campbell County government. Regular part-time employees premium amounts are based on the number of hours they are scheduled to work. Eligible employees who work 40 hours per week and are enrolled in the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) or the Low Deductible Health Plan option pay a pro-rated premium based on their tier of enrollment.  

Dental

The Dental Benefit Plan is self-insured, self-funded by Campbell County government. Eligible employee premiums are based on the option of the health plan enrollment and tier of enrollment. Regular part-time employees premium amounts are based on the number of hours they are scheduled to work. 

Vision

Optional vision insurance is provided by VSP Vision Care. Employees pay 100% of the premium.

Basic Life Insurance

Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance is provided by a third party insurance company. There is no premium charged to benefit eligible employees for Basic Life and AD&D. Employee Basic Life coverage is equal to one times annual salary rounded up to the nearest one-thousand, up to a maximum of $50,000.00; dependent coverage is equal to $2,000.00. Employee AD&D is equal to the amount of Basic Life coverage. 

Supplemental Life Insurance

Supplemental Life Insurance may be purchased by the employee for themselves and their spouse to maximum of $500,000 for employee and $250,000 for the spouse. Child Supplemental Life Insurance may also be purchased by the employee as an additional expense. 


Long-Term Disability

Long-Term Disability Insurance is provided by a third party insurance company for employees working 30 hours or more per week. Benefit for eligible, qualifying employees is 60% of monthly earnings to a maximum of $5,000 per month, less any other benefit received. Benefits are subject to a 180-day elimination period.


Flexible Spending (FSA)

Flexible Benefits Plan allows employees to contribute pre-tax dollars for medical and dependent care expenses and when applicable, premiums.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

Health Saving Account allows employees to contribute pre-tax dollars for medical, dental, vision and any other eligible expenses.

Retirement

Retirement is provided through the Wyoming Retirement System. Currently for the Public Employees Pension Plan and the Law Enforcement Pension Plan, both the employee and the employer contribution is funded by Campbell County. The plan is a defined benefit pension plan, and employees must be classified as regular employees, working at least 20 hours per week to be eligible to participate. Employee Assistance

Employee Assistance Program is provided by the county for all regular employees working at least 20 hours a week. The service is free and confidential.

Retiree Medical

Eligible employees and their spouse may continue their medical coverage by paying 100% of the premium. The employees age plus years of Campbell County service must equal at least eighty-five (85).
